If you see an "Invalid SIM" or "No Service" message shown on the screen after inserting your JP SMART SIM, try the following steps:
- Turn off the device, remove the SIM, gently wipe the chip with a dry cloth, then reinsert the SIM.
- If step 1 doesn't help, please check if your device is compatible with our SIM card.
COMPATIBLE DEVICES
- SIM-free devices (or the open-line device which bought authentically in your home country)
- Unlocked devices ・Global version devices
- Docomo-locked devices (black listed・illegal mobile is not eligible)
If your mobile is from Softbank or AU, you need to unlock it before applying JP Smart SIM.

Only need to input 15 digits of the IMEI number and check the result.
- If the result shows an [ O ] or [△] mark on the Docomo side, or [ - ] for every result, you can use the phone.
- If the result shows [ X ] in any outcome, your device is illegal and signal-blocked by Carrier and not be able to use any sim card after all.
- If the result shows [ △ ] on other carriers but Docomo, you need to unlock it and upgrade to the International version before applying JP Smart SIM.

If the above steps cannot help you to solve the problem, please try to install the sim on another phone that is compatible with JP SMART SIM. If the SIM does not work, it means that your SIM card is damaged. Please contact us promptly for SIM card replacement instructions.
